Leaders come in all shapes, colors, sizes, and share a golden quality… Courage.

Our releases are replenishing the Royal Fourth Generation Monarch Butterfly considered to be at risk of extinction as they are the only butterflies in the world that live nine months to make a 3000-mile ancient journey to the Michoacan Mountains in Mexico.

These magnificent creatures weigh less than a paperclip, and with no GPS or map fly up to 100-miles a day to a destination they’ve never seen, and they arrive in 90 days!

We only release ‘disease free’ butterflies reared on a certified farm by licensed lepidopterists. We release Monarchs raised east of the Rocky Mountains in this same region based on their natural migration paths, and west of the Rocky Mountains in their natural migration paths.

Release season for non-royal Monarchs is April – October, this species lives 4 – 6 weeks and they are the parents, grand parents and great grand parents of the Royal Ones.

Royal Fourth Generation Monarchs are released August – October. We also offer a “Tag” and release activity for your guests to apply a numbered “Tag” to their Monarch’s wing so they can monitor its flight path through our affiliation with monarchwatch.org.

After simple instruction from our Monarch Wrangler, guests will receive their Monarch in a vellum envelope that does NOT hurt the butterfly. We release in day light hours. Best temperature range 70 – 85 degrees. Sunshine, clouds, or light rain is fine.

Prices: $15 – $25 per Monarch based on quantity, in addition to transportation and staff fees to your requested venue location.
